Readers are welcome to submit comments, questions, or concerns regarding the methodology, data, analysis, interpretation, and conclusions of articles published in JATRA.

2. Submission of Comments

Readers who wish to discuss a published article may contact the editorial office of JATRA through the official journal contact details. Submissions should clearly identify the article concerned, including its title, authors, publication year, and DOI or article URL, where available.

Comments should be evidence-based, relevant to the published research, respectful, and written in an academic manner.

3. Editorial Assessment

The editorial team will assess submitted comments for relevance, scientific merit, clarity, and compliance with publication ethics. The journal may request clarification or supporting evidence before proceeding.

Comments containing personal attacks, unsupported allegations, defamatory statements, or irrelevant material may be declined.

4. Author Response

Where appropriate, the original authors may be invited to respond to substantive comments concerning their published work. The editorial team will seek to ensure that the discussion is fair, balanced, and scientifically constructive.

5. Publication of Discussion

JATRA may publish accepted comments and corresponding author responses as part of its academic discussion process, subject to editorial assessment and applicable publication policies.

Publication of a comment or response does not necessarily imply endorsement by the journal of every statement made by its contributors.

6. Research Integrity Concerns

Comments that raise credible concerns about research integrity, data reliability, plagiarism, or possible research misconduct will be handled in accordance with JATRA's Publication Ethics and Allegation of Research Misconduct policies.

Where necessary, the journal may initiate further assessment and consider appropriate actions, including the publication of corrections, expressions of concern, or retraction notices.

7. Editorial Independence

The Editor-in-Chief retains responsibility for decisions concerning the assessment and publication of post-publication discussions. All decisions will be made fairly and without discrimination, while protecting the integrity of the scholarly record.

JATRA is committed to fostering respectful, evidence-based academic dialogue that contributes to the advancement of applied science and engineering.
