Manuscript Types

JATRA (Jurnal Teknologi dan Riset Terapan) accepts original manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of applied science, engineering, and technology, particularly in the fields covered by the journal's scope.

The following manuscript types are considered for publication:

1. Original Research Article

Original Research Articles report novel findings from experimental investigations, numerical simulations, analytical studies, engineering design and development, or other systematic research methods. Manuscripts must clearly describe the research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.

2. Review Article

Review Articles provide a critical and comprehensive synthesis of existing literature on a specific topic within the journal's scope. They should identify research trends, evaluate existing findings, discuss research gaps, and suggest directions for future research. Systematic literature reviews are particularly encouraged when conducted using transparent and reproducible methods.

3. Technical or Engineering Application Article

Technical or Engineering Application Articles present the development, implementation, evaluation, or improvement of engineering methods, systems, equipment, prototypes, and technological solutions. Manuscripts must demonstrate a clear technical contribution supported by appropriate analysis, testing, validation, or evaluation.

All submitted manuscripts must fall within the scope of JATRA, present a clear contribution to applied science or engineering, and comply with the journal's Author Guidelines.

Manuscripts must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions are subject to editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

The acceptance of a manuscript for publication depends on its relevance, scientific or technical quality, originality, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's publication requirements.
