Copyright

Authors who publish in the Journal of Applied Informatics and Computing (JAIC) retain the copyright of their articles. Authors also retain all other rights to their work, subject to the terms of the Creative Commons license under which the article is published.

By submitting and publishing an article in JAIC, authors agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Ownership: Copyright of each published article remains with the author(s). Authors retain ownership of their work and grant JAIC the right of first publication.

  2. Right of First Publication: Authors acknowledge that JAIC is the first publisher of the article. The published version may be distributed, reproduced, and reused in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license.

  3. Author's Rights to Reuse: Authors may share, deposit, distribute, or republish their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, academic platforms, books, or other publications, provided that the original publication in JAIC is properly acknowledged and the applicable license terms are followed.

  4. Originality and Copyright Warranty: Authors warrant that their submissions are original, have not been previously published in the same form, and do not infringe the copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use third-party material where permission is required.

  5. Multiple Authors: For articles written by more than one author, the submitting author confirms that all co-authors have been informed of and have agreed to the applicable copyright and licensing terms. The submitting author is responsible for communicating these terms to all co-authors. Authorship and copyright disputes remain subject to applicable law and relevant editorial policies.

  6. Third-Party Materials: Material included in an article that is not owned by the authors may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms. Authors must identify such material and obtain any necessary permissions before publication.

Unless otherwise indicated, articles published in the Journal of Applied Informatics and Computing (JAIC) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license allows anyone to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions are subject to the following conditions:

Recommended Citation and Acknowledgment

When sharing or reusing an article published in JAIC, users should provide appropriate attribution, including the author(s), article title, journal name, volume, issue, page numbers or article number where applicable, publication year, and DOI or article URL when available.

Authors who republish or distribute their articles elsewhere should acknowledge JAIC as the original place of publication and provide a link to the original article whenever possible.

Policy Application

This Copyright and License policy applies to articles published in JAIC unless a different license or copyright arrangement is explicitly stated for a particular article.

The journal may update this policy when necessary to reflect changes in its publishing practices, licensing arrangements, or applicable legal requirements.
