Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The abstract is written in English and Indonesian, containing the main issues, research objectives, design/methodology/approach, research findings, theoretical contributions/originality, implications for practitioners/policies, and keywords at the end. An abstract is written in one paragraph, no more than 200 words. (Times New Roman 11, single space, and italics), left and right aligned, maximum 1 page. General requirements: (1) Manuscripts must be researched in the accounting field and scope that overlaps with accounting. (2) Manuscripts submitted to JAMA must be original works, namely, the same manuscript has never been published or accepted for publication in another journal or book, either in whole or in large part, and may not be submitted to any other journal to be published simultaneously or considered for publication or even reviewed; (3) Manuscripts are written in Indonesian or English and accompanied by the author's name, institutional affiliation, and email address. In a soft file format using Microsoft Word, the margins on each side are 1,8 cm, with a maximum of 20 pages and a minimum of 10 pages (4). Manuscripts must comply with the following guidelines and must be formatted according to the JAMA template for submission. Papers that do not meet these requirements may be returned for revision (format/template) before entering the review process; (5) Manuscripts can only be sent through the open journal system (OJS) mechanism (not via email) (6) JAMA editors have the right to edit the grammar and spelling of the text contained without reducing or changing the intent of the writing.
