The Journal of Applied Managerial Accounting (JAMA) is biannually (Mei and October) peer reviewed journal published by the Center for Research and Community Service (P2M) in collaboration with the Managerial Accounting Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Batam.
JAMA focuses on applied research in managerial accounting and finance, with a strong emphasis on practical solutions to industry-related problems. JAMA publishes high-quality empirical, theoretical, and practical articles in electronic format, freely accessible online.
JAMA is dedicated to advancing applied managerial accounting and finance by serving as a platform for the dissemination of scholarly work. JAMA welcomes contributions in various fields, including Financial Accounting and Reporting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Behavioral Accounting, Capital Markets & Investments, Public Sector Accounting, Financial Management, GCG, and other related areas of accounting and finance.
Since December 2022, JAMA has been nationally accredited with SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Director Decree No. 0187/E5.3/HM.01.00/2023). This accreditation is valid until Vol. 10, No. 3, 2026.

Journal of Applied Managerial Accounting (JAMA) is published by the Centre for Research and Community Service in collaboration with the Managerial Accounting Study Program, Batam State Polytechnic. This journal is primarily intended for applied managerial accounting and finance, with a focus on applied research, fundamental research, and industrial problem solving. JAMA publishes quality articles based on empirical research and theoretical and practical articles. We publish JAMA in electronic form twice yearly (May and October). The electronic PDF version is free and accessible on the internet. We encourage all interested contributors to submit their best work to our journal. Since 2017, our articles have an average of 15 works by all the best authors, both domestically and abroad, that have been strictly selected by reviewers and are free of plagiarism. Journal of Applied Managerial Accounting (JAMA) has been indexed by Sinta 4.
