Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • All authors have approved the submitted version of the manuscript and the order of authorship. Their contributions are explained in Comments to the Editor.
  • The corresponding author will respond to any email notification and check the system regularly. For authors who wish to be reminded by WhatsApp, the number can be filled in Comments to the Editor.
  • The manuscript conforms to the JLIT Author Guidelines and uses the official journal template. The manuscript is anonymous, while names and affiliations are filled in Comments to the Editor.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Any supplementary materials (e.g., questionnaires, datasets, appendices, or supporting documents) have been prepared and uploaded, and/or a link to the file(s) as instructed by the JLIT Template. When data cannot be shared due to legal, ethical, confidentiality, or commercial restrictions, an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor.
  • The authors declare that they have no known competing financial interests or personal relationships that could have appeared to influence the work reported in this paper in accordance with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy. If a conflict of interest exists, authors should provide a clear statement in Comments to the Editor.
  • All authors have complied with internationally accepted research ethics principles. No fabricated, falsified, or manipulated data were used. Participants' confidentiality (if applicable) and privacy were protected. If ethical approval was not required, an appropriate justification has been provided in the Comments to the Editor.
  • The manuscript has been proofread with acceptable English language quality (e.g., a Grammarly score of at least 80% or an equivalent standard).
  • The manuscript has an acceptable similarity index (e.g., a Ithenticate/Turnitin score of a maximum of 20% excluding bibliography or an equivalent standard).
  • The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted tools, if any, has complied with the JLIT AI-Assisted Writing Policy
  • Upon acceptance for publication, the authors agree to transfer the copyright (or grant an exclusive License to Publish) to JLIT to enable the publication, distribution, archiving, and indexing of the article in all media and formats.
  • Any third-party copyrighted materials included in the manuscript have been used with appropriate permission and acknowledgment.
  • The corresponding author confirms that the manuscript complies with the JLIT Publication Ethics Policy and that all authors agree to adhere to the journal's ethical standards throughout the editorial and publication process. The manuscript may be withdrawn or retracted if serious ethical violations are identified before or after publication.
  • The corresponding author confirms that all content in the manuscript is original or used with appropriate permission and acknowledgment, and that its publication will not infringe any copyright or intellectual property rights.
  • The authors understand that the article will be published in accordance with the JLIT’s Copyright & License Policy and Open Access Policy.
