The Journal of Logistics and International Trade (JLIT) is an open-access journal committed to the broad dissemination of scholarly research while protecting the intellectual property rights of authors.

Copyright

Authors who publish in JLIT retain the copyright of their work. Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors grant JLIT a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and promote the published article in any media or format.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript is original, does not infringe upon the copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party, and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Unless otherwise stated, all articles published in JLIT are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Under this license, anyone is free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use,

provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the Journal of Logistics and International Trade (JLIT), a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • Reuse their published work in books, theses, dissertations, teaching materials, conference presentations, and institutional reports;
  • Deposit the published version of the article in institutional or disciplinary repositories;
  • Share the published article through personal websites, institutional websites, and academic networking platforms, provided that appropriate citation to the original publication in JLIT is included.

Journal Rights

JLIT reserves the right to:

  • Publish, archive, preserve, and disseminate accepted articles through its website and other indexing, abstracting, and archiving services;
  • Produce metadata and assign Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where applicable;
  • Promote published articles through academic databases, indexing services, and scholarly communication platforms.

Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material (including figures, tables, photographs, or other content) owned by third parties before submission.

Appropriate acknowledgment must be included in the manuscript whenever such materials are used.

Licensing Agreement

Before publication, the corresponding author is required to complete and sign the journal's License to Publish (or other publication agreement as required by the journal), confirming that:

  • the manuscript is original;
  • all authors approve the submission and publication;
  • the work does not violate any copyright or intellectual property rights;
  • ethical standards have been observed; and
  • the authors agree to publish the article under the journal's licensing policy.

Open Access Statement

JLIT provides immediate and unrestricted open access to all published content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the global exchange of knowledge and promotes wider dissemination and impact of scholarly work.
