Google Scholar is a freely accessible web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Released in beta in November 2004, the Google Scholar index includes most peer-reviewed online academic journals and books, conference papers, theses and dissertations, preprints, abstracts, technical reports, and other scholarly literature, including court opinions and patents.

2. Portal Garuda

The Garuda IPI Portal (Indonesian Publication Index) is a gateway for tracking, indexing, abstracting, monitoring, and for improving the quality standards of scientific publications in Indonesia. This portal was initiated by a scientific community called the Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science or abbreviated as IAES, especially the IAES Indonesian Section.

3. LIPI

The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Indonesian: Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, or LIPI) is the governmental authority for science and research in Indonesia. It consists of 47 research centers in the fields ranging from social to natural sciences.

4. Crossref

Crossref (formerly styled CrossRef)is an official digital object identifier (DOI) Registration Agency of the International DOI Foundation. We can search the metadata of journal articles, books, standards, datasets & more.

5. Scilit

The name Scilit uses components of the words “scientific” and “literature”. This database of scholarly works is developed and maintained by the open access publisher MDPI. Scilit is a comprehensive, free database for scientists using a new method to collate data and indexing scientific material.
