One of the functions of Image Processing that the author wants to apply is the detection of an object from a still image or a moving image. In this application, the object to be identified by the author will be applied to the PBL sorting machine in the form of cans and bottles. In designing this system, the You Only Look Once (YOLO) method is used and several libraries. YOLO is an algorithm for detecting an object using an artificial neural network (ANN) from an image where this network divides the image into several regions and predicts each bounding box and probability for each region of the image. The author also uses a webcam to detect the object and a Servo Motor as a sorter on the PBL Sorting Machine. The result of this final project is that the system can detect objects cans and bottles properly and produce precise accuracy and is able to move the sorter based on the output data from the detection results.
Diono Diono, M. Simulation is carried out by creating an environment map on the Gazebo. Then explore environmental mapping using Hokuyo LIDAR which has been added to the turtlebot3 model waffle_pi to the simulated environment map. In this study, a model of the second floor lobby environment and Brail of the Batam State Polytechnic was used which was made in the form of a simulation on the Gazebo, where robots that have used LIDAR will be controlled with a keyboard around the simulation environment, where simultaneously the mapping and localization process runs and the process can be seen on the Rviz in real-time, where LIDAR will send data in the form of distance readings that will be received by Hector SLAM. The results of this study are expected that Hector SLAM using LIDAR sensor simulation can produce environmental mapping and localization in the simulation environment and obtain a minimum computer specification to process data from the SLAM Hector process using LIDAR sensors.
Hendawan Soebhakti, Robbi Hermawansya Pangantar ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://jurnal.polibatam.ac.id/index.php/JI/article/view/5755 Wed, 27 Mar 2024 04:28:59 +0000 Rancang Bangun Digital Firing Angle Sebagai AC – AC Controller Untuk Alat Pengering Sepatu Dengan Metode Kontrol Proporsional Integral https://jurnal.polibatam.ac.id/index.php/JI/article/view/6595
The rainy season is an obstacle for everyone, especially drying shoes, because rain can hinder the process of drying shoes. Currently, shoes are still dried using the conventional method, namely by utilizing the sun's heat. The next development is a system for drying shoes using gas fuel, but it has the potential for fire. In this final project, a shoe drying system is designed which is controlled using PI control according to a specified setpoint to dry shoes when exposed to rain or at night. To get the appropriate room temperature, the output voltage from the heater needs to be controlled using the Digital Firing Angle. The ignition angle is regulated by the Digital Firing Angle circuit. To maintain the temperature conditions in a stable condition, namely 65°C, this tool is controlled using PI (Proportional Integral) control. This dryer is designed for a maximum of 1 pair of wet shoes. With final humidity results in the drying room ≤ 20%RH. With this final project, it can dry shoes in rainy conditions in 94 minutes for synthetic leather shoes and 104 minutes for leather shoes.
Mochamad Ari Bagus Nugroho, Hasnira Hasnira, Mohammad Zainul Iraqi, Suhariningsih Suhariningsih ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://jurnal.polibatam.ac.id/index.php/JI/article/view/6595 Wed, 27 Mar 2024 04:52:32 +0000 Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Mobile Crowdfunding untuk Donasi Sosial Kota Samarinda https://jurnal.polibatam.ac.id/index.php/JI/article/view/5083
Donations are physical gifts made by individuals or legal entities that are given voluntarily and without imbalance. PT. MIC (Mulia Indo Consolidated) is one of the industries engaged in F&B which is oriented towards the production of bottles and packaging. The machines in PT. MIC uses a part that functions to regulate fluid flow in a hydraulic or peumatic system, this part is often referred to as a spool valve. At PT. MIC spool valve is used to move the mold, compress air and move other parts that support the bottle forming process. At PT. MIC components of this spool valve must be maintained so that it can work properly, so far the checking process is done manually by checking the performance of the spool valve at a pressure of 20 Psi or about 138 newtons per square meter this value is equated with the pressure conditions when this spool valve works in making bottles. At PT. MIC components of this spool valve must be maintained so that it can work properly, so far the checking process is done manually by checking the performance of the spool valve at a pressure of 20 Psi or about 138 newtons per square meter this value is equated with the pressure conditions when this spool valve works in making bottles. From the manual testing process of the spool valve, you can get the condition of the spool valve that is still good or not, but the weakness is because the manual process is still low and the process is long. Therefore PT. MIC and the ATMI Industrial Polytechnic (Polin ATMI) work together to make a spool valve test equipment that aims to find out whether the repaired spool valve is in accordance with the standard pressure value of 20 Psi so as to minimize repeated breakdowns. The spool valve check tool is made using an offliner system so that it does not interfere with the machine when producing. From the results of this study, a spool valve check device was successfully designed and made to work well when carrying out the spool valve inspection process so as to reduce the repeated breakdown process and increase production.
Oktavianus Ardhian Nugroho ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://jurnal.polibatam.ac.id/index.php/JI/article/view/6759 Thu, 28 Mar 2024 03:53:59 +0000 Panel Kontrol ATS SCADA https://jurnal.polibatam.ac.id/index.php/JI/article/view/7317
To guarantee a steady supply of electricity to the load, the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panel management system is crucial in controlling the power flow between the primary and backup electricity sources.
