Utilization of waste for recycling planting or known as a recycled planter, where one of the results is in the form of a plastic container that can be used as a medium for planting TOGA (in Indonesian: Tanaman Obat Keluarga) (family physic medical plants). The recycle planter and TOGA have economic value and health and support the go green program. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an activity to introduce and practice the recycle planter and TOGA. This community service activity is carried out to provide a solution to this problem, where this service activity is carried out in three stages, namely 1) pre-field, 2) socialization, practice, and mentoring, and 3) report and publication preparation. This activity was carried out at RT 02 Tanjung Kertang Village, Galang District, Riau Archipelago Province. The results of this service are in the form of pot planters and TOGA products that can be used by residents. In addition, residents can also apply and practice how to make recycled planters and TOGA plastic containers

Socialization and education regarding customs regulations for small entrepreneurs will be very useful for the development of Small Businesses, which is very important in the current conditions, where the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the national economy, especially for Batam. This service leads to socialization and education of regulations related to customs for small entrepreneurs. This community service activity aims to provide socialization and education related to customs regulations for micro, small and medium enterprises in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The target of this service is SMEs in Batam. The purpose of this service is to: 1. Provide socialization of customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 2. Provide education on customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 3. Know the understanding of small entrepreneurs about customs regulations that encourage exports for small entrepreneurs and understand the understanding of shipping regulations. The method that will be implemented is by conducting online training, providing pocket books and motion graphics videos. The expected result is the existence of pocket books and motion graphics videos that can be accessed by small business actors, MSMEs, companies and the community. This service is one of the implementations of Project-Based Learning for courses in international trade law and taxation as well as international trade.

The rapid development of large-scale infrastructure in Indonesia indicates the need for solutions for fast crack applications with accurate results using methods that are efficient in terms of time and data generated. One example of the development of mapping technology in this modern era is aerial photography not only using manned aircraft, but you can also use an unmanned aerial vehicle or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). This unmanned aircraft is better known as a drone, which is currently at an affordable price, easy to get and has the ability to shoot like a manned aircraft. Measurements were made using photogrammetric techniques from aerial photographs produced by drones. With results that have high accuracy, and can be done in the shortest possible time, then the use of drones in making topographic maps will be more widely used in the future. In our study and research survey that we conducted in the form of PBL (Project Based Learning) Politeknik Negeri Batam students in community service in the soaking village, Tanjung Riau, Batam Island, namely for making aerial photo maps using the DJI Phantom 4 RTK drone which we carried out in the village soak.

The Tax Volunteer Program is a concrete step in the dedication of the Batam State Polytechnic academic community to assist the role of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) in conducting tax education to increase taxpayer awareness and compliance. This program is also used as PBL which is required for D3 Accounting Study Program students and involves 5 courses in the 4^th semester. Volunteers assist in reporting the Individual Annual Tax Return internally at the Batam State Polytechnic and external parties at the Regional Office of DGT Riau Islands as well as several companies cooperating with the Regional Office of DGT Riau Islands.

In 2023, tax volunteers succeeded in assisting 808 Individual Taxpayers both from internal Polibatam and outside Polibatam parties. More than 87% of Individual Taxpayers who were assisted by tax volunteers felt the assistance provided by Polibatam Tax Volunteers was very useful and easy for Individual Taxpayers to understand so it could greatly assist Individual Taxpayers in reporting their tax obligations. Many Individual Taxpayers hope that this program can be carried out every year by increasing the skills and understanding of tax volunteers and improving the mechanism for implementing assistance by adding a short tutorial on reporting the Individual Annual Tax Return through e-Filing.

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu kelompok nelayan dalam pengelolaan isi konten website sebagai media promosi dan pemasaran hasil pengolahan ikan mereka. Pada masa kini, dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan internet, memiliki kehadiran online sangat penting untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Dalam kegiatan ini, kami bekerja sama dengan kelompok nelayan untuk mengembangkan konten yang menarik dan informatif untuk website mereka. Tim kami memberikan pelatihan kepada anggota kelompok nelayan tentang penggunaan website, teknik penulisan konten yang efektif, dan penggunaan alat-alat digital untuk meningkatkan visibilitas mereka. Hal ini memungkinkan mereka untuk menghasilkan konten yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan target audiens mereka. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan keahlian dan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan untuk mengelola website mereka secara efektif. Dengan adanya website yang menarik dan teratur, kelompok nelayan dapat mempromosikan produk hasil pengolahan ikan mereka kepada pasar yang lebih luas, baik di tingkat lokal maupun regional. Workshop Cybersecurity Awareness Meningkatkan Literasi Keamanan Digital di Wilayah Suburban Kepulauan Riau

Phishing attack works by deceiving the victim so that they give their asset such as credential information to the attacker. The high level of cybercrime in form of phishing after COVID-19 pandemic has increasingly affected. It reaches new quarterly high in late 2022, where there was more than 4.7 million of phishing attacks has been launched, based on Anti-Phishing Work Group (APWG) Phishing Activity Trends Report. The importance of knowledge about phishing awareness is very necessary to minimize the affected victim. In order to decrease the issue, a Cybersecurity Awareness workshop has been conducted at several schools in Batam suburban area; SMK Negeri 1 Batam, SMK Multistudi High School (MHS) Batam, and SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pinang. The aim of these activity is to increase cybersecurity public awareness of phishing attack from an early age, especially at schools. As an approach, several activities related to phishing awareness have been executed in a workshop, including phishing simulation as well as socialization. Based on these activities, results shown that phishing awareness has been achieved in average 70% currently at young age.

Di era globalisasi saat ini perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berkembang sangat pesat sebagaimana yang diketahui. Perkembangan tersebut tidak hanya di wilayah perkotaan saja, melainkan sampai menyentuh ke wilayah pedesaan. Begitu juga pada Kelurahan Pulau Buluh, Kecamatan Bulang, Kota Batam, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau yang dalam rutinitasnya memiliki tugas pokok dan fungsi dalam melaksanakan menjalankan kebijakan pemerintahan, keamanan dan ketertiban dengan berbagai tugas yang diemban seperti pengurusan administrasi yang meliputi surat pernyataan penguasaan tanah, surat keterangan tanah, ahli waris, surat keterangan kematian, surat keterangan kelahiran, keterangan pindah dan pada pelayanan pengaduan dan sebagainya. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya tersebut, kantor kelurahan pulau buluh belum mempunyai sistem informasi yang dapat menunjang kegiatan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. karena semua sistem masih dilakukan secara manual dengan berbasis kertas. Maka diperlukan suatu Sistem Informasi Kelurahaan yang dapat digunakan dalam mengelola pengarsipan serta menjaga data-data administrasi kependudukan agar dapat dikelola untuk jangka panjang. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan suatu langkah dalam upaya membantu pihak pegawai di Kelurahan Pulau Buluh dalam perancangan suatu Sistem Informasi Kelurahan yang diterapkan dalam bentuk website berbasis OpenSID. Adapun luaran hasil akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu terbangunnya suatu aplikasi sistem informasi kelurahan website berbasis OpenSID serta luaran-luaran penting dalam mempublikasikan hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini kepada khalayak umum.

All individuals, organizations and business entities have tax obligations, but not all of them have knowledge and understanding of taxation. Fulfilling tax obligations is often an obstacle for individual and corporate taxpayers because it requires special knowledge related to tax administration. This is where the role of universities is needed in providing socialization and assistance regarding tax obligations. In 2022, Polibatam has developed an educational version of the tax e-filing application which is now ready to be used in outreach activities and assistance in fulfilling tax obligations for individual and corporate taxpayers in Batam City.

It is hoped that this service activity can help resolve problems in the community, especially regarding fulfilling the tax obligations of OP taxpayers and corporate taxpayers in Batam City as well as increasing tax compliance by implementing Polibatam's educational version of the tax e-form application. It can be concluded that the response of the taxpayers who were accompanied was very positive towards the service activities carried out. In the satisfaction questionnaire filled out by taxpayers, 100% of taxpayers answered that they were willing to return to participate in other service activities that would be held by Polibatam in the future.

Nowadays, the application of technology in mosques is important to help the smooth running of activities. Miftachul Jannah Mosque, Duriangkang Village, Sungai Beduk Subdistrict, Batam City seeks to overcome two main problems; first, the repeated theft of charity box money. Second, there are frequent power outages that disrupt the recitation process. As a solution, the service team conducted research aimed at improving security and electricity availability through the installation of internet networks and solar panels, which are integrated with CCTV systems. The object of this research focuses on the application of technology in the mosque environment to ensure the continuity of religious activities without obstacles. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method was applied to design and implement the system with the participation of mosque administrators and teachers. The results show that the utilization of solar power generation significantly supports the operation of electronic equipment, such as street lighting and power sources for wifi routers and CCTV. The implementation of this system has proven to provide tangible benefits, in the form of a reliable source of renewable energy and increased security functions through internet-connected CCTV, which also supports the teaching and learning process with an online attendance system for TPQ students. And the administrators and teachers are satisfied with this service.

Abstract— The rapid advancement of technology, particularly the internet, has propelled humanity into a modern world where digitalization is essential. Consequently, system security has become paramount in the utilization of information systems, including websites and desktop/mobile applications. According to the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Indonesia remains the top target for cyberattacks. Penetration testing is a lawful practice employed to identify vulnerabilities within a system and enhance its overall security. This penetration testing exercise was conducted on the website Udacoding, following a four-phase approach: planning, information gathering, attack simulation, and reporting. The findings and proposed solutions will be comprehensively documented in a final report.
